During the warmer months, I like to have extra support to help keep my Dexcom G6 sensors in place. That’s why I love ordering the free overpatches from Dexcom through my G6 app. ☀️ What I like to do is after showering, I clean the area with an alcohol wipe and then add an overpatch! Doing that makes it stick really well, and they last even during my at home workouts!💚

A tip for staying in range is to set daily goals! For example, making the time to move my body and go out for a walk helps me feel more energized throughout the day. When I go too high, I know it’s time to get moving so I can meet my in range goal.💗

When I'm out of range I feel hungry, shaky, and anxious which makes me want to eat all the candy in sight! But when I'm in range, I can do more and feel like I'm living my best life doing what I love! 🩰

One of the best parts of using the Dexcom CGM system is the long transmitter wear. Since I always depend on my cgm for readings while I'm on the go working in theatre! 💃🏻📋🎭 I know that for some people their first time changing out their transmitter can be intimidating, especially since they last 90 days.

Something I always remember to do when pairing a new transmitter is to first delete the old/expired transmitter number from your compatible smartphone's Bluetooth settings. This will help pair the new transmitter faster!
