𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵! Hold on tight… it’s a novel. I wear a mask 6-8 hours a day at work and sweat. This created the perfect bacterial breeding ground for “mask”-ne. 😷
As you can see I didn’t have large clusters of pimples, but they were more small, and tons of them all over my skin…Makeup wouldn’t go on evenly and and my cheeks were so dry compared to the rest of my skin. Then on top of it I would get giant pimples that hurt. I still have some blue-ish acne scarring from when it was really bad when I was younger and the combination of everything was making me very self conscious! I haven’t had pimples like this since I was a teenager and I’m almost 30.
I have tried multiple lines and had no success… but I saw Dr. Pimple Popper had her own line and thought I would give it a try! THOUGH, I could only do ones where my clients were facing almost or completely forward. 🥺 so. Clearly 10 photos does not represent all your beautiful hairs… but just know you are loved and I couldn’t be more grateful to have shared this year with all of you!

We have been existing and operating in a completely different reality this year… who said we couldn’t look good doing it? To my clients, thank you for being a literal financial + emotional support through this pandemic! Before 2020 I thought I had a job that would go “untouched” forever, (no pun intended), but alas covid changed all that. We spent 2021 navigating what it would mean to do hair with Covid lurking around… I think our salon did it with grace and with a stamina not even a virus could break! I hope I’ve given you a space to de-stress and feel good about yourself this year. I Can’t wait to create more beautiful hair + continue to hear about your lives and experiences in 2022.
