It’s my birthdayyyyy 🥳🎂💕
And after being quiet on here for a while, this honestly feels like the perfect day to pop back out. 😂
Life has been LIFE’N, but one thing about me… I’m still gonna keep going.
This past year has stretched me, grown me, humbled me, challenged me, and reminded me just how much I’m capable of. I’ve been busy being a mama, building my nursing career, figuring out what’s next for me professionally, working toward bigger goals, learning new things, creating, dreaming, and trying to build a life that my kids and I can be proud of.
I’m a Registered Nurse. 🩺
I’m raising two amazing kids.
I’m building something of my own.
I’m still chasing L&D.
I’m still dreaming bigger.
And I’m still becoming the woman I’ve prayed, worked, cried, fought, and sacrificed to be.
I’m walking into this next year with more confidence, more discipline, more wisdom, more gratitude, and an even clearer vision for the life I want.
Same girl… bigger goals. 💕

I used to pray for this life… and now I’m living it.
Not because it was easy.
Not because everything lined up perfectly.
But because I made a promise… and I refused to break it.
I told my dad I was going to finish nursing school.
I told him I was going to become an RN.
And even on the days I wanted to quit… I remembered WHY I started.
Now I’m here.
A nurse.
A mother.
A woman still healing, still growing… but still standing.
My babies are watching me build a life I once dreamed about.
And my dad… I know you’re watching me too. 💔✨

I wrote this song for my dad… because I didn’t realize how deeply I was still grieving him.
Grief is a funny thing.
Some days you can smile, laugh, and feel okay…
and other days, everything feels heavy.
When school ended… everything I hadn’t dealt with came rushing in.
I found myself asking:
Why am I so unhappy?
Why does this feel so heavy?
And the truth was… I never fully processed losing him.

So I picked up a pen.
And I started writing.
And somehow… through that pain, something beautiful came out of it.
Writing became therapeutic and helped me face my grief.

This isn’t just a job.
This is purpose. This is legacy.
And I’m just getting started.

While others were focused on the distractions, you were focused on the work. You stayed in your own lane, kept your head down, and let your game do the talking. Those late nights in the gym when it was just me and you—no crowd, no cameras, just the grind. Has all paid off 🏀✨
I am so beyond proud of the woman you are becoming. Maintaining a 3.67 GPA and making the Principal’s Honor Roll while being a literal beast on the court? God has a way of honoring the honest. You didn’t have to cheat, you didn’t have to play dirty, and you didn’t have to switch up or HATE on anyone. You earned this EYBL spot fair and square because you are EXACTLY who I’ve always told you , you were ….. HER ✨🤩😤
After evething we’ve walked through recently, I hope you never forget one thing: Mama bear isn’t going anywhere. 🐻💪 I am your shield, your protector, your peace, your biggest cheerleader, and your #1 fan forever. We are walking this journey together, and I am so excited to see you shine on this stage.
