It's all about the masks!!! 💆♀️
Which mask to sue and when ?
How to choose your mask at home ...
Its tricky with all the mask fads out there to know which is right for your skin.
Let me help 🙏
Face masks are one of the most popular ways to refresh the skin.3x a week is best 👍
Aging skin. For fine lines and wrinkles, or even hyperpigmentation from the sun, look for a mask that contains Vitamin C. Vitamin C is well known for its ability to boost collagen and help protect against sun damage. Using a mask with Vitamin C as its active ingredient may help you get a youthful glow.
Dry skin. If you get dry skin, the best ingredient to look for is hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid can moisturize and rejuvenate the skin.
Acne-prone skin. fighting
acne or blemishes can be fristrating... choose a mask that uses salicylic acid (BHA) as an active ingredient. Salicylic acid soothes irritation and may block new acne from forming by killing bacteria. This makes it perfect for masks to treat acne flare-ups. usually clay form
Redness-prone skin. Masks that have niacinamide may be your go to when it comes to soothing rosacea or redness. niacinamide is a good tool for minimizing redness and blotchiness along with fine lines and hyperpigmentation. Azeliac acid also does wonders for Rosacea as a non prescriptive alternative. Can be in a gel or cream form
Dark spots or pigmentation. kojic acid which contains antioxidants, may help reduce the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation. If you’re looking to minimize sun damage or soothe hyperpigmentation, look for a mask that contains kojic acid, azeliac acid, or retinoids (vitamin A derivitve)

My clients always ask me what the best at home regimen is best.... here is an example in the picture:
💞
but if you just want the basics I say
💞
For AM
1. Cleanse with a cleanser specific for your skin type (not sure what skin type you have? DM & Ask me how to tell)
2. Toner (for your skin type) toners are NECCESSARY to reset the PH of your skin back to acidic 4.5-5 after cleansing (Majority of cleansers are alkalinic)
3. Moisturize for akin type
4. Broad spectrum SPF (sometimes the SPF in your foundation may not be enough to protect that beautiful face!) 80% of aging comes from the SUN!
Of course the older we get like me, the products become more advanced. I use eye serum & eye cream, facial serums targeted for my skin concerns, and heavier moisturizer to keep hydrated and keep the wrinkles at bay 🤗
The healing power of stones ans Crystal's!!
The sacral chakra is the second of seven major chakras on the body. In classic Sanskrit, the word for this chakra is Svadhisthana, which roughly translates to “sweetness.”
This chakra is just below the navel in the lower abdomen. Located above the root chakra, it helps to promote the proper flow of Qi throughout the body.
It’s closely tied to emotional balance and is said to be the epicenter of joy. The sacral chakra regulates our feelings of enjoyment. It governs everything from playfulness to pleasure and intimacy! This is the primary reason why so many people seek out sacral chakra stones (we all want more enjoyment in our lives).
Many say that the chakra also controls creative passions and regulates the reproductive organs!

Sound healing! I love this modality.
Recently I learned about the work that Jonathan Goldman has done...and his theory on "Humming" releasing oxytocin and seratoin for stress release and better sleep.
I tried it in LA 405 traffic, and my whole attitude changed. With intention, I felt my brain vibrating after 5 minutes of humming. Try it !! Tell em what changed for you.

Hyaluronic Acid
Did you know that in addition to all the amazing topical skin care benefits of hyaluronic acid, that there are internal benefits as well...
Take this in supplemental form for Hyaluronic acid also used to relieve joint pain and symptoms of arthritis. The theory is that as we age, the body produces less hyaluronic acid, which lubricates the cartilage between joints. As a result, joints become stiff, and movement is awkward and painful.
