HEKA - Hair + Wellness

Alessandra was introduced to the world of art at a young age and became obsessed as it was a means for her to escape into her imagination. This continued as she grew up and attended CSUN after high school in hopes of becoming an animator. Soon, she took a detour and found herself in the hair and beauty world where she graduated from Flair Beauty College and got her cosmetology license in March 2010 and, later, graduated from Joe Blasco School of Makeup and Special Effects in August that same year. After a few years of working at Supercuts, she decided to move back to Brazil to discover her roots and reconnect with family. There, she did makeup for The Addams Family production in Rio. After the tour ended, she decided to come back to LA. A month later, she got a job at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop and continued to work there for the next seven years. Alessandra’s thirst for knowledge for alternative health and metaphysical topics led her to take different courses on natural health alternatives while, also, becoming a Reiki II Practitioner. Since then, she was able to find a way to put together all her knowledge and passions into one business and that is when HEKA- Hair + Wellness was born. Alessandra offers a variety of hair/beauty services as well as her metaphysical and art services. With these services, Alessandra hopes to give back and be a part of a growing community of loving and conscious people serving the greater good!
