Our co-founder is turning 25! Sahar is such an important part of the team and we couldn’t be happier to share our journey with her. Originally from Laguna Beach, Sahar attended USC where she met her future SOSHE co-founders.

Though she wears many hats, Sahar works primarily on product development, social media, influencer relations, and basically anything the brand needs. She has an eye for aesthetics and her favorite part about her job is developing your favorite formulas and taking content.

When she’s not repping her favorite SOSHE products (Soft Glide Lip Liner in Candid, Lip Silk in Adore, Waterproof Precision Liner in Lovesick and of course, Peptide Lengthening Mascara), Sahar enjoys long walks in the Erewhon, making oat milk lattes, and spending time with her family. She believes that “it’s really important to make time for doing the things you enjoy” (:

We asked Sahar what her favorite SOSHE memory is:

“Visiting our factory in Italy where our mascara is made. It’s the product that started this whole journey for us, and to be there with Junyi and Aidan to see it happen IRL was something I’ll never forget.”

👋Meet Junyi, one of the co-founders of SOSHE and the backbone of the team. Born and raised in Missouri, Junyi moved to California to attend USC, where he met the rest of the SOSHE founders (hi Sahar and Aidan!).

What roles does Junyi play in the team? It would be easier to ask what he doesn’t do. Throughout our journey Junyi has taken on every role imaginable, but he primarily focuses on sales, operations, and marketing. The team couldn’t function without him!

We asked Junyi what excited him most about SOSHE:

“I love getting up everyday and seeing how our community supports our brand and mission. Our goal is not just to make beauty essentials so good you’ll want to wear and refill on repeat, but also to help make the beauty industry more sustainable in the long haul. There’s so much in store that we’re working on and can’t wait to share that will amplify SOSHE’s impact on the industry. Our friends, family, and community inspire me to work harder and keep finding ways to improve our products.”
