If you've ever looked in the mirror and thought, "I look tired even though I don't feel tired," you're certainly not alone. 👀
The area around the eyes is often one of the first places to show changes over time, which is why it's also one of the most common concerns patients bring up during consultations.
The good news is that understanding why something is happening is the first step toward finding the right solution.

When people hear the term "open rhinoplasty," it can sound a little more intimidating than it really is.
It simply means making a small incision at the base of the nose so I can clearly see the underlying bone and cartilage. That added visibility gives me greater precision, especially when refining the nasal tip, improving symmetry, or making more complex corrections.
At the end of the day, the technique is just a tool. My focus is always on creating a nose that looks balanced, functions well, and fits the rest of your face naturally.
The consultation, the planning, and the conversations you have before your procedure are all part of setting yourself up for the best possible experience and recovery. That's why I believe patient education is just as important as the surgery itself. 😁

Every once in a while, it feels good to swap the operating room for a little adventure. 🛶
I recently spent some time whitewater rafting on the Kern River, and while the rapids kept me on my toes, I have to admit... I was happy to come back to a place where I know exactly what's around the next bend. 😉
Hope you're finding a little time this summer to get outside, recharge, and make some memories with the people you love.
Most people ask about the scar or the flatter abdomen when preparing for a tummy tuck. Few think to ask about the belly button. 👀
But it’s often the smallest details that help a result look the most natural. That’s something I never overlook and focus on with every patient based on their anatomy and aesthetic goals.
The best results usually don't come from doing more. They come from combining the right procedures for the right patient. 👍
A tummy tuck helps restore the foundation by tightening the abdominal muscles and removing excess skin. Liposuction, on the other hand, allows me to sculpt the surrounding areas and refine the overall contour.
Each procedure has a different job, but together they create a smoother, more balanced midsection than either one could accomplish on its own.
With more people reaching their weight-loss goals than ever before, I'm also seeing more questions about what comes next.
As your body changes, it's completely normal to notice things you weren't expecting. That's why I encourage patients to think beyond the number on the scale and focus on feeling comfortable and confident in their bodies for the long term.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the best surgical decisions come from understanding the full picture. 👍
The first thing I tell patients is that an arm lift does leave a scar. While scars typically soften and fade over time, every procedure involves a balance of trade-offs. During your consultation, we’ll talk through the incision, what to expect during recovery, and scar care to help your incision heal as well as possible.
I also remind patients that not everyone needs the exact same procedure. Some people benefit from an arm lift alone, while others achieve the best result by combining it with liposuction. That’s why a personalized evaluation is so important.
At the end of the day, my goal isn’t just to remove excess skin… it’s to help you feel more comfortable, more confident, and enjoy your results for years to come.
