Lionel Renard Salons provide luxurious hair care and exceptional service in Miami, New York and, most recently, Los Angeles. Renard, born in Paris, has a family history in the beauty business: his parents owned a salon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Since moving to the States, Renard has soared to new heights in the hair world. Some of today’s biggest stars have trusted him with their tresses, and Renard released his own product line to meet all hair needs (free of sulfates, parabens and other harsh chemicals). 2013 also marked the opening of the flagship Lionel Renard Salon on West Third Street. A clean, modern space, the salon boasts high ceilings, sleek wood and plenty of natural light. In hopes of harmonizing patrons' energy with the surrounding environment, the space was designed according to the principles of feng shui. The Bauhaus-inspired layout was carefully developed to enhance the client experience, with subtle touches to calm the mind and soul. Shiatsu shampoo chairs come with a user-controlled back massage function and a generous bowl tilt for a nirvana-like experience; customized styling stations are made from walnut wood and decorated with exotic orchids for a sense of refinement.
