WTF am I going to tell my customers that have appointments!?

A total net loss day! F #*K!!!!

Been having conversations with my clients and I realize something,
I’ve been doing this long enough that the ‘kids’ that came to me 20odd years ago are now grown men with the same aches and pains that I have now.

I’ve seen them grown from adolescents to grown men with children of their own. Some of those teenagers are now clients as well.

They have grown a trust in me that I am forever grateful for. And I trust them just as much if not more. They are the reason I still do this after 30 years.

For many years I never understood why my Dad loved to go to work.
I understand now.

Thank You to all of my guys.
Some are still with me
Some bring me their children
Some bring me food
Some bring me gifts
Some bring me water
Some have moved away

And they all bring me joy!

It’s in these trying days that I sit back and contemplate my worth.
To me, I am worth very little,
but
They are priceless to me.

So I was cutting this young man’s hair and his head suddenly drops! He is ASLEEP!! Had to get his Dad to wake him up, I didn’t have the heart. He seemed so tired. 😂
I love my job.

Just reminding people that I will not be in tomorrow as I shall be going out of town. I will be back and open on Monday. Txt or call for an appointment AFTER Saturday.

Sooooo……
There was an electrical fire at the shop. No one was hurt but the gentleman handling the issue says we won’t be up and running til Wednesday. If you have an appointment on Tuesday it’s a no go.
Sorry for the inconvenience but it’s now outta my hands.

So, there’s an electrical short in the wall/panel box of the shop. My electrician says he has to find the short. But my landlord has decided to send her man to check it out. He was suppose to be here at 9am.

I’m still waiting.

Scott has a VA spot today at 1pm. I gotta go soon.

So, if I can’t get it fixed I’m not sure how safe it’ll be to continue working.
