Hi everyone, I’m Sasha, one of the stylists at Liberated.
Unfortunately, my dog Kody was attacked by three coyotes yesterday in the early morning.
Kody suffered 2 fractured ribs, bruised lungs, and three bites. After surgery, he had some complications with air under his skin from the puncture wounds and needed to be oxygenated in the ICU.
He is fighting hard and was able to stand on his own last night for the first time since his surgery! This morning, we were told they took him off oxygen around midnight and he’s able to breathe by himself, but the bruising on his lungs will make it difficult and serious rest is important these next 6 weeks because of the severe pain from the broken ribs. We are hopeful we get to take him home today. With yesterday and last nights unexpected costs, we would really appreciate any donations and story reposts/shares. Thank you all so much!
