Your brow sits wherever the balance between those two forces lands. Only one muscle lifts, the frontalis running from your brows to your hairline, which is why a good injector treats it lightly and stays high, since over-relaxing it is exactly what drops the brow and leaves people heavy and hooded after forehead Botox. The muscles pulling down are the procerus and the corrugators between the brows. Relax those, preserve the elevator, and the brow rises on its own. It is not about more product. It is about the right muscles relaxed and the right one protected.

Comment RAISE and we’ll send you the breakdown of who a Botox brow lift works on and who needs more.

Makes sense😅

Botox can slim your lower face and sharpen your jawline, and it does it by shrinking one of the strongest muscles in your body.

That muscle is the masseter, your main chewing muscle, running from your cheekbone down to the angle of your jaw. In some people it is naturally large, and in others it grows from years of clenching and grinding, which widens the lower face and squares off the jaw. Relaxing it with Botox means it is used less, so over the following weeks it gradually shrinks, and as it does the jaw looks more tapered and defined. The key word there is gradually. This one builds over a few weeks as the muscle reduces, not overnight, which is exactly what makes the result look natural rather than done.

One day a year, $75 turns into $225 toward your JUVÉDERM.

It’s JUVÉDERM Day. For one day only, Allē lets you buy a $75 gift card and get a second one free, and we add an extra $75 on top. That’s $225 toward natural, subtle results with Dr. Ella, the kind where no one can tell you had anything done.

It opens at 9 AM PT on August 19 and it’s gone the same day. You’ll need a free Allē account to buy it, then put the value toward your treatment with Dr. Ella.

Everyone has heard of the liquid nose job with filler. Almost no one knows Botox can reshape the nose too, and it works on completely different things.

Filler adds structure. Botox relaxes the muscles that pull your nose out of balance when you move. It softens bunny lines, the creases that fan across the sides of the nose when you scrunch. It lifts a tip that drops when you smile, by relaxing the small muscle that tugs it down. And it narrows nostrils that flare when you talk or laugh. What it will not do is build a bridge or change the nose at rest, because that is a filler and surgery job. This is about the nose in motion, not the nose standing still.

Comment RHINO and we’ll send you the breakdown of what Botox can and can’t do for the nose.

It’s a weekly ritual😅

Ariana Grande had a ton of lip filler and Botox for years, then stopped in 2018 because it started to feel like hiding. Now she points to her lines and says she loves them.

That is the whole shift. Filler doesn’t age you overnight, it creeps, a domino effect where you look normal to yourself so you keep going, and the mirror keeps telling you it looks good while everyone else sees it. Courteney Cox, who dissolved every bit of hers, put it bluntly: she messed up a lot and looked strange for years without noticing. The fix was never more filler to balance the old filler. It’s dissolving it, going back to your actual face, and if anything adding a touch you’d have to be told was even there. The goal flipped from more to undetectable.

Comment DISSOLVE and we’ll tell you honestly if less would look like more.

You are not supposed to have zero forehead lines. You are supposed to keep your eyebrows.

Here is the trade nobody explains before your first appointment. Your forehead has one muscle lifting your brows, and Botox relaxes it. Too much and the brows feel heavy and the lids look hooded. The skill is dosing it so the deep lines soften but the muscle still holds your brows where they belong. This was twelve units, placed to smooth the movement without dropping the brow, which is exactly why she still looks like herself.

Comment FOREHEAD and we’ll tell you what your face actually needs.

The muscle behind both is the platysma, a broad, thin sheet that covers the front of the neck and extends up over the jaw into the lower face. When it tightens, you get those vertical cords down the neck, and that same downward pull blurs the jawline and feeds early jowling. Relaxing it releases the pull, so the bands soften and the jaw reads sharper. The neck alone addresses the cords. The neck and jawline together is what makes it the Nefertiti lift, named for the defined jaw on the bust of Queen Nefertiti. And this is not off-label anymore. In October 2024 the FDA approved Botox for platysma bands, making the neck the fourth area Botox is approved to treat and the first below the face.

Comment BANDS and we’ll send you the breakdown of the Nefertiti lift and who it works for.
