I had the honor of visiting as I’d heard a rumor about an old barbershop they had on display that once belonged to Mr. Manuel “Tito” Bañaga. Mr Bañaga was born and raised in SimiValley, studied at and opened the first Barbershop in SimiValley in 1958 where he serviced his customers until closing his doors in 2006💈He donated his shop to in order to preserve Barbershop and Barber history🫡 Mr Bañaga passed in 2008 🕊️
His words live on, in short “hair is hair.”
