Most clients say, “I want brunette.”
But THIS is what they actually mean

Which tone are you? 👀

Most people think expensive hair means going lighter. It doesn’t

Luxury color is,
Septh
Placement
controlled contrast

That’s why some highlights grow out beautifully… and some turn flat in two weeks. Brondie isn’t about being blonde. It’s about balance.

Most clients don’t get bad results because of their hair.
They get it because they don’t know how to ask.
Saying “I want highlights” is too vague.

Expensive hair comes from:
• depth
• placement
• controlled contrast
The better you communicate, the better your result.

Brunette doesn’t turn orange by accident

It happens when:
• brightness is added without contrast
• everything is lifted, but nothing is left
• tone isn’t refined after lightening

Even lift is important.
But luxury color comes from control. What you leave is just as important as what you lighten.
That’s how you keep brunettes rich, not brassy.

It wasn’t about going blonder.
It was about fixing the placement.

She came in 2 weeks after her last color —
the highlights weren’t bad, just… off
Too chunky
No blend
No flow

And that’s why it didn’t look expensive.
So instead of adding more blonde,
we rebuilt the structure:
– softened the lines
– added lowlights for balance
– refined the face frame

Same hair. Different strategy.
Luxury hair isn’t about how light you go. It’s about how well it’s placed.

Blonde isn’t the problem.
Bad blonde is.

A lot of clients come in asking to go lighter,
but what they actually need is:

• depth
• balance
• intentional placement

Going brighter doesn’t fix everything.
It often removes contrast, which is what makes hair look expensive.

In this case, we didn’t chase blonde.
We rebuilt the structure.

That’s what Brondie does.
If your color feels “off,”
it’s usually not the shade… it’s the strategy.

Everyone asks for color.
Sometimes the real answer is a haircut.

Less weight.
More movement.
Better energy.

Would you let yourself cut one piece? 😂✂️
