We’ve been seeing Morgan for almost 2 years now and there’s nothing like that moment when a “hair save” is actually all their own hair.
We see it through and beyond. Love this long bob and vanilla butter rooted blonde on her! What do you guys think?

🚨 Milly’s Perm Debacle: Let’s clear a few things up.
This story has went extremely viral on Social Media over the last week. This is a 4 minute video so you’re gonna wanna lock in.
Milly is a single mom and saved up all of her money to get this perm. We are flying her out to Los Angeles in about a week to do our absolute best to help her with her hair. Her hair is extremely damaged and with perms most use ammonium thioglycolate which permanently alters the hair. This will take multiple appointments and we will need to cut Milly’s hair. She does not want to shave her head or do a pixie.
Our goal is to keep seeing her and to treat her like a Queen and restore her self confidence. I also really feel for the baby stylist. They need education and support. I do not get involved with that part. I will not bash a stylist or salon. My focus is on Milly. Mistakes were made, but we need to chill.
I also want to applaud all the brands and also stylists that reached out to Milly to offer help. The thing that I personally love about our industry is when someone is in need we rally to help. Don’t let certain narratives stop you from being kind.
We need more kindness and empathy on social media and in the world. THAT’S WHY WE REALLY ENJOY DOING THESE. There was a lot of hot takes and I know everyone’s passions about this. I just felt it was important to explain a few things so there isn’t any confusion.
We can’t wait to have Milly here in Los Angeles. We will keep you with us every step of the way. The team is incredible. Stay tuned 🙏

PERM GONE WRONG 😩: I saw Millie’s video last night on TikTok after she saved up all her money to get a perm. She’s a single mom and was really excited for the appointment.
It wasn’t necessarily about her hair breaking off. Of course mistakes were made. No test strand, using heat with the perm solution, over processing. Of course that was terrible. What it’s about though, is no accountability.
I’ve broken someone’s hair off before. I did everything I could to make it right. I felt terrible. Refund. Free services. Tons of free products. Phone calls to check on them. TOOK ACCOUNTABILITY. Wanna know something? That client still comes to see me 12 years later.
I think the reason I love doing these in part is I want Millie to get to experience what professionalism is and what it’s really like to be pampered and get your hair done at a salon .
Stay tuned. It’s time for another hair save y’all. Team assembled ✨Milly deserves all the things 🫶🥲

✨Do you guys know Chadd Boulter Chadd Boulter? If not you need to. He’s a Trichology Informed Colorist that’s been doing a lot of really cool scientific breakdowns of brands and things related to hair.
He reached out to us that he’s been getting a lot of requests to do a video about QOAT! To see how it works in the hair and also if it works. We were already obsessed with his videos, so we over nighted him a bottle and let him get to work 🤓 🧬
He took hair and first lightened it, then colored it with one of the hardest colors to avoid fading: Pastel Pink.
Next he split the hair into two batches. One he treated with QOAT Hair and the other batch he did not. Then he shape shampooed both batches of hair 20 times. Same temperature, same shampoo and agitation time.
Then he took each of the samples and filmed micro videos to compare the color fade with and without QOAT.
He also took 5 to 6 hairs of each batch and made cross sections one with QOAT and one without QOAT and compared each under the microscope, giving us a view into the inside of the hair. You can really see 👀 just how much pigment was left and just how effective QOAT was at retaining this VERY fast fading color!
We are pretty mind blown 🤯 to see the microscopic look at our new baby QOAT. What do you guys think? As always sound off in the comments!
The future of color is QOAT. Qoat restores hairs hydrophobic function by mimicking the hydrophobic lipid layer or F Layer of the hair. In Chads video, you really see this function in action. Make sure you follow Chadd and check out his stuff!
Wedding Hair Disaster Reveal. This is part 2 👰🏻
After a Japanese Straightener gone terribly wrong we saved Cats hair just 2 days before her wedding. These are the unforgettable moments behind the chair in the salon that change us forever.

👰🏻 Many women would say the happiest day of their lives or most important day is that of their wedding day. And a big part of their day definitely has to do with their wedding hair.
We had decided to help a young lady in need a month before this who had DIY their own hair at home and it all broke off. It really changed the way that I looked at my role as a hairstylist in that it changed the way that I looked at my job. As a content creator it felt good to do something that helped someone in need regain their self confidence through beauty.
A month after that appointment, we were tagged 100’s if not 1000’s of times in a video of Catherine who had went to get a routine Japanese Straightening service and all of her hair broke off, just weeks before her big day. She didn’t run to the internet to bash the salon, although in this case she could have. They offered to do extensions to “fix it” AT FULL PRICE. 😩
So she made a video asking for advice on what to do. We all ended up meeting in Vegas. She flew from Boston and many of us flew from Los Angeles to save Cat’s hair just days before her wedding. The pressure was high. An unforgettable day. This is part 1 🥹

This client wanted “Elsa Frozen” Blonde. She wanted it in 2 to 3 hours and didn’t want to put bleach on her hair.
This may look like a parody 😂, but these days consultations are more important than ever. She said she saw it done on social media and it looked easy 😩 Once we explained the actual time it could take, the maintenance involved, and yes that we would infact need to bleach her entire head she had a change of heart.
She decided to go with a copper blonde sun-kissed highlight look and rich red. She agreed for us to use low volume lightener to break through her preexisting color. With the red she was worried about fading so we used QOAT Hair on her of course and explained to her why it would make a huge difference in keeping her red rich and vibrant ✨
Do you think we made the right choice for her? Do you love this haircolor on her?
