1984 was ridiculous. In the best possible way. 🎬
Ghostbusters. The Terminator. Amadeus. The Karate Kid. A Nightmare on Elm Street. Paris, Texas. This Is Spinal Tap. Blood Simple.
Different genres. Different voices. One absurdly strong year for movies.
Step into the Indie Film Professor Screening Room and explore the films, the eras, and the ones still worth arguing about decades later.

🎬 SET SLANG is officially live.
A Field Guide to Film Set Speak: Apple Boxes to Zero Dark Thirty is now available on Amazon as both an eBook download and a physical book.
If you want the strange, inherited language of filmmaking in your hands, this is it. C-47s. Stingers. Abby Singer. Dead Cats. Apple Boxes. Martini. Tail Lights. All the stuff that sounds ridiculous until you’ve spent time on a set.
The Set Slang sticker series is also available now at IndieFilmProfessor.com, and the living online glossary is there too for anyone who wants to keep digging deeper.
Book on Amazon. Stickers + glossary at IndieFilmProfessor.com. Link in bio. 🎬📚⚡
