Since last month's solstice, I've been super busy between a large number or reading requests and preparing for a funeral. I'm almost caught up with readings, so I have a couple openings for astrology and tarot readings.

The moon is in Ta**us today. ♉️ This is where it is exalted (honored), because the Ta**us moon allows us to be fully present with our emotions and our feminine energy. We feel deeply, but we don’t run from those feelings. Ta**us is usually grounded, centered, comfortable. It is a sign ruled by Venus (hence the connection to femininity, nurturing, sensuality, and comfort). Whether you identify as male, female, or non-binary, we all have these qualities within us. How are you all holding up? This weekend has been a bit strange (and rough). Looking at the astrology transits, I can only assume it is due to Mercury Retrograde conjunct Mars (which will be exact tomorrow). This is adding some drama, confusion, miscommunication, and general mishaps into the air.

Yesterday, my partner and I had to deal with various car-related issues, surprise bills, and just small things going wrong. This morning, I caught the bus and my tap card wasn't working, and I didn't have any cash on hand. Then, I distractedly left a gift bag on the bus by mistake. This was supposed to be a gift for a family friend that we rarely get to see. Some of my friends have also experienced technical problems, cancelled trips, payment systems going down, and just the sense of general mishaps.

I tried to look at the transits to make sense of it and the only thing I could find was that: Mars cozying up to retrograde Mercury in the confusion of Pisces. Mercury retrograde already is a time of miscommunications and delayed plans, and then adding the Mars in Pisces on top of that just makes it more confusing and tumultuous. Mars is the planet of action, drive, assertiveness and aggressiveness. Mercury is communication, technology, machinery, neighbors, siblings, and along with Mars and Uranus, is connected to vehicles and short-term travel.

Those of you with the sun or moon in Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces, will likely feel this transit more strongly. If that is you, hang in there!! This will pass in a few days, and Mercury will go direct on March 20th. Just under one week left to go!

The March astrology column will probably be posted late. My partner and I lost a dear friend yesterday and we are heartbroken.

I'd written a column about the Saturn & Neptune conjunction in Aries last week, but hadn't published it because I was dealing with health appointments and just not in the headspace to proofread and revise it. I just posted it anyway, mostly unedited, so there is something up until I'm ready to write the next column.
