Did you know that the natural enzymes in papaya and pineapple (Papain and Bromelain) act like Alpha Hydroxy Acid, only gentler?
Here is how you can make a natural exfoliating mask at home:
Mix 1/4 cup of fresh papaya, 1/4 cup of fresh pineapple and a spoonful of honey. (you could also pick just one fruit)
Juice it, blend it or mash it – strain the pulp – apply with a cotton ball to a cleansed face, neck and chest.
Lie down, relax and leave on for approximately 5-15 minutes. If you feel a slight stinging or scratching, that is an indication that the AHA's are working.
wash the mask off and follow with some hydrator.
