but seriously, japanese women know how to take care of their hair… meanwhile me in the US… needs a lot more discipline… 🙂‍↕️

I tend to think that the best path is the one that feels the most natural to you. Not necessarily the easiest, but the one you don’t mind putting in the work for because it feels right.

I left Japan when I was 22. For a lot of people, that probably sounds like the harder choice, but at the time I felt like I’d be more myself outside of Japan.

The last 8 years definitely weren’t easy, but I’m so glad I took that leap of faith. Looking back now, I finally feel like I’m becoming the person I always wanted to be 🤍
