Undercurrent is one of those fragrances that changes depending on where you catch it.
At first, itās bright, a little green and spicy: pink pepper, bergamot, cardamom and an almost unripe fig that feels more like the leaf than the fruit.
Then it starts warming up.
Jasmine and orris soften everything just slightly, while vanilla begins to peek through underneath. Not sugary. Not heavy. Just enough warmth against all that cool green spice.
And eventually it settles into marshmallow cream, dry woods, airy musks and amber with that pink pepper still running through the whole thing.
Itās fresh without being aquatic. Sweet without being gourmand. Warm without ever becoming heavy.
A little difficult to explain.

What kind of person wears UNDERCURRENT?
Someone composed enough not to need the roomās approval. Someone polished, but never predictable. Someone drawn to things that feel a little unexpected, maybe even a little strange, because thatās usually where the interesting part begins.
UNDERCURRENT was created around that kind of instinct.
It opens bright, green and peppery, softens into florals and warm spice, then settles into sweeter woods, vanilla and marshmallow.
Not the safest choice. But the one thatās bold.
And thatās exactly the point.

Thousands of sprays later, these were the fragrances you reached for again and again this weekend in San Francisco.
Every market reminds me that choosing a perfume is rarely about the notes. Itās about recognizing a feeling before you can put it into words. Watching someone smell a fragrance, pause, smile, and quietly say āthatās meā will never stop being my favorite part of what I do.
