Come with me to visit Printemps Beauty in Paris, one of my favorite places to go perfume shopping. They have an incredible selection of niche fragrances. These were some of the standouts I smelled while I was there
Le Dix by Balenciaga is the modern reimagining of the house’s very first fragrance from 1947. It’s powdery, floral and elegant, with iris, violet leaf and incense. It has this gorgeous, slightly vintage feel and smells a little like lipstick in the best possible way. Definitely my favorite from the entire collection.
Vanilla Planifolia from Chloé’s Atelier des Fleurs is a beautiful floral, slightly spicy, woody vanilla by Quentin Bisch. This is a vanilla you’ll love if you don’t like gourmand vanilla fragrances because it’s not overly sweet.
Figue Barbare from Première Note is a beautiful, sweet fig fragrance with a hint of rose. It’s fresh and a little green, but also sweet and creamy at the same time. I love the soft, musky, woody base. If you’re a fig lover, I really think you’ll love this one.
This is my first time trying anything from OTZLAB. Air is an extrait de parfum by Alex Lee, and it’s super fresh, clean and airy, but still slightly fruity with blackcurrant and lime. I really like this one. It’s the kind of fragrance that would be perfect for the gym or the office. Clean, crisp and very modern.
Musc Miroir by Ormaie Paris is built around clean, sensual musks and is honestly one of the most beautiful musk perfumes I’ve ever smelled.
Oud de Soirée by Maison Rebatchi is a new Extrait de Parfum created by master perfumer Jordi Fernandez. A sophisticated, modern take on oud with spices, rose, warm woods and amber
Midnight Omen by Trudon is dark, sensual and mysterious, with mandarin, violet, leather and sandalwood. Masculine-leaning, aromatic and powdery, and one of the standouts from the new Nuit Rouge collection
Moment After was my favorite from the new Bottega Veneta Alta collection. It’s slightly masculine-leaning, but I would definitely wear it. It’s a spicy, sweet vanilla with mate tea, cardamom and a really cozy tonka bean dry down. I really liked this one.
