Black Rosette is a rose for rule-breakers, with the defiant presence of leather eclipsing all traces of florality.

Daydreaming about who might rock our cult-classic scent, our founder and perfumer, Alexandra, pictured three icons whose rebellious spirits have long inspired her…

Our leather-clad rose has quite the reputation…this is Black Rosette, as told by the perfume aficionados on Fragrantica 🥀

This isn’t rose as you know it. Black Rosette is a scent discovered off the beaten path, where smoke curls through cool night air and mystery hums in the dark like the soft hiss of a record left spinning. Somewhere in the shadows, a sliver of light catches a crimson rose.

This moody scent opens with organic Moroccan spearmint and lavender, fresh and clear against the wildcrafted sandalwood and botanical leather accord rumbling beneath. At the center, the rose—thorny and wild, its petals made strange by the depth and contrast that surrounds it.

It’s fall in the forest 🍂Like autumn’s amber light flickering through gilded trees, Musc Botanique shimmers on the skin—translucent and alive.

In 1902, Sadakichi Hartmann took a New York audience on “A Trip to Japan in Sixteen Minutes,” a performance that set out to transport them across an ocean through scent.

One night, the faraway scent of clover drifted across Hartmann’s path. Ever the artist, he followed its trail toward an idea: “the perfume must come from a clover field perhaps miles away, I reasoned. How did it get here? The wind carried it. Well, if that can be done in nature, it surely can be done in the theater,” he said.

And so the very first perfume concert was born!

Saturday’s full moon is in Pisces, the zodiac’s resident dreamer. Since the moon rules the innermost self, expect your feelings and fantasies to turn all the way up!

To set the mood, we’re wearing Pisces Eau de Parfum. Hypnotic night-blooming jasmine, lush kewda, and sparkling lime mingle with meditative frankincense and grounding cedarwood to spark creativity and keep you centered as you wander the wilder reaches of your imagination.

The fall forecast calls for fresh and shimmering botanicals! Musc Botanique has the Town & Country seal of approval, with author Roxanne Adamiyatt calling it “the kind of scent that evokes the quiet of dawn during the days where shadow overtakes light.”

Right on cue, autumn makes its entrance. Today light and dark are in perfect balance, and every scent in the crisp air signals change.

After months of balmy weather, we’re more than ready for the coziness of fall. While it’s still a touch early for knitwear, our fragrance wardrobe is already layering up, starting with Musc Botanique.

A versatile base with crystalline depth and texture, Musc Botanique has a way with roses. Layer it with these cool, crisp rose compositions to add warmth and dimension, and watch them bloom into something new—sunlit and shimmering.
