I just freshened up her copper look by adding some highlights. Brought in some dimension and pops of color using a custom Redken Shades EQ gloss for shine, and the perfect copper reflect.

From Blue to Copper

A complete color transformation powered by color theory ✨

When transitioning from blue to copper, the key is creating the right canvas before depositing our final color. Using Direct Dye Lifter and strategically incorporating Shades EQ to neutralize the remaining blue pigment, we were able to cancel out those cool tones and create the perfect foundation for our copper.

Once the canvas was balanced, it was time to bring the warmth back in and create this rich, dimensional copper dream 🧡🔥

💙 BLUE LAGOON TRANSFORMATION 💙

Creating vivid color starts with the perfect canvas. This mostly virgin hair was lightened using a platinum card application, leaving about an inch at the scalp before going back to the roots to ensure an even, consistent lift from root to end.

After lightening, I pre-toned at the shampoo bowl with blue pigment and warm water to neutralize warmth before applying this vibrant Blue Lagoon shade.

The result? A seamless, bold blue with incredible shine and healthy-looking hair. ✨
