🍁In honor of using my free will, it is officially my favorite season-Fall-in my house. 🍂
Starting with this cozy chicken thigh recipe that has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s healthy, full of flavor, great for meal prep and, most importantly, my kids love it too!🥘🍚🫶🏽
Cozy Chicken Thighs with Rice + Sautéed Mushrooms
For the chicken:
* A little over 3 lbs chicken thighs
* Olive oil cooking spray
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp onion powder
* ½–1 tsp Adobo
* ½ tsp turmeric
* ½ tsp black pepper
* ½ tsp Everything But the Elote seasoning
* Small pinch of ground clove
* Coconut aminos, dash
* 1 large onion, sliced
* About 1 tsp Better Than Bouillon roasted chicken base
* Chicken bone broth, just enough to partially cover the chicken
Wash and pat the chicken dry, then season with everything except the chicken bouillon. Marinate in the fridge for a couple of hours before cooking to really let all those flavors come together.
Spray a hot pan with olive oil cooking spray and add the chicken. Let it cook untouched for about 5 minutes to get a nice golden sear.
Flip the chicken, add the sliced onions on top, then add about 1 tsp of chicken bouillon and just enough bone broth to partially cover the chicken. Cover, lower the heat and cook for another 6–8 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally. The onions cook down into the broth and make everything incredibly flavorful.
For the sautéed mushrooms:
Wash and dry your mushrooms, then add them straight to a hot pan. Let them cook down and release their water first. Once they do, drain that liquid.
Add a little olive oil cooking spray and sauté until golden with that slightly crispy texture. Finish with a splash of Bragg Liquid Aminos.
For the rice:
White rice in the rice cooker with a little ghee + salt. Simple and perfect with the chicken and onions.
If mushrooms aren’t your thing, swap them for zucchini, broccoli, green beans or whatever vegetable you love.
Cozy, delicious, easy to prep for the week and one the whole family can enjoy. 🍂🤎🫶🏽Save and follow for more healthy recipes🍁

🎙️It is incredibly powerful being a Woman.
We are the divine feminine. We are powerful, intuitive, fierce, nurturing, resilient creatures. We create life within our bodies. And yet, since we were little girls, we have been taught so many things designed to make us feel less than what we actually are.
And so much of it isn’t even real. It’s made up!
We have been taught a version of womanhood that simply isn’t true. That we are somehow less capable, less powerful, too emotional, too much, or not enough. We’ve been taught to question our instincts, our bodies, our voices and even each other. None of that is truth. It was taught to us. And anything that was taught can be unlearned.
We are not weak. We never were.
Women are incredibly powerful, and I think it’s time we remember that!
Women need to band together. We need to listen to each other, protect each other, advocate for each other and stand together.
👉🏼And men need to listen to us.
It’s our turn.
Clearly, a world where most of it is run and decided by men is not working! Women need to be heard when it comes to our bodies, our healthcare, our families, our lives and the world we live in.
It’s on us now.
To speak. To stand together. To stop shrinking ourselves. To remember exactly who we are.
We are fierce. We are powerful. We are Women.
And it’s our turn.👏🏽

I wanted to share my breastfeeding tips as a mom that has breastfed, in total, for over 40 months.
Green cabbage will save your ni***es when you first start nursing. The rawness, pain, and skin irritation will be relieved by that. While your baby nurses on the right breast, put the cabbage in your bra over your left breast and it will heal it quickly.
Oatmeal is your best friend for milk production, and it’s the easiest thing to make and eat throughout the day.
Make sure you’re eating enough protein, and sipping bone broth is a cheat code for this. Warm bone broth will also help you with your hydration.
On the hydration note… coconut water. Yes. The electrolytes are absolutely life-changing.
Add Celtic or sea salt to your water and drink.
Mangos are great for helping with milk production. Lactation cookies work really well and give you an excuse to eat cookies.
Pumping to store milk for later or stimulate the glands.
If you have clogged milk ducts, sunflower lecithin pills. And if you have swelling, express a little bit in the shower while the water is warm-hot.
A heating pad over your breasts helps too. Hand express.
Having protein bars next to your bed or nursing chair.
Earth Mama Ni**le Butter.
Lentils. Canned is fine. Heat them up and enjoy. Super easy.
Canned sardines. Easy and high in protein and fats.
My Brest Friend nursing pillow when baby is 0–4 months.
Enjoy these beautiful, magical moments.
We are so incredible, and give yourself grace and love.
You are doing amazing, truly. I hope this helps, and I will be making another list with more tips.♥️
I love you.
