Keep our dear Lael, who created Yes Salon, in your prayers. She has been quite ill. And let us all be grateful for the space she has made here for others.

Exciting news! Eco-Architect Thane Roberts will be joining us--sharing photos of his famed Meridian House on our Patio Pop-up Art showcase for our YES SALON May 21 Sat on the JOY of LEADERSHIP
Thane made a 9-year circumnavigation of the world on a sailboat. He then created the “Meridian House” designed to facilitate his family’s connection to nature, self, family, and community — something that he experienced during his voyage.
The design, like on a yacht, is self-sufficient, relying on the wind and sun to cool, heat and provide most energy needs for the home. Each day at 'solar noon', a small circle of light crosses a Meridian line on the living room floor showing the date and time at the moment when a sailor would find his position at sea.
Roberts’ philosophy is about knowing where you are in the universe.
