My family faced the worst calamity of our lives this year, and I can't thank you enough for all of your patience, understanding and generosity during our recovery and transitions. This past year in Los Angeles has been rife with dramatic movements of violence towards our neighbors and communities. This year I hope to promote and participate in a movement of compassion and empathy in our city through my business and personal life.
