Here we go (AGAIN!!) I can not believe I pulled this off.

Oh yeah, Jeff rolled in for the last 30ish hours of our time in LG. Classic Jeff.

The last month has been a wild ride. If you know, you know.

How? I’ve been getting by with a little help from my friends. My heart is exploding with gratitude for the amazing people who have laughed/cried with me, fed me, helped me with Sloane and so much more. We feel loved.

Hey North Carolina!!! We are coming in HOT 🔥🔥

But first epic stops planned in Bend and Portland before we hit Cleveland to collect and Silas and for Jeff to stand in his oldest friends wedding.

I have been a season of stuck for some time now but it seems we are coming out of the yuck and ready to 👏🏼spread 👏🏼some 👏🏼glitter 👏🏼

I love Instagram memories! I posted a few in stories there today and wanted to share this here.

5 years ago, I got my first opportunity to take the lead in wardrobe!! It was a project for Va Lottery and it was all Christmas 🎄 but we short in October so finding all the holiday gear was challenging with a tight turn around.

This sweater was the hero piece and the clients wanted this actors sweater to mimic the design of the holiday scratch off tickets. I bought a red sweater and glued on laser cut trees, snowflakes and all the designs. I was SO proud of this! We got a laser printed one at the last minute so mine didn’t get used.

You can see the whole commercial at www.emilyhudspeth.com and a few other too. This opportunity opened so many doors for me. It felt so big and scary but I’m so grateful for the producers who believed in me. I LOVED all of the details and it was so fun creating all of this beautiful visual story telling.

I miss this kind of work and I wonder if I will ever do it again. It also makes me hopeful for the next big, scary, FUN challenge.

Current status. Bathroom beautician!

In the last 17 years (and a few more before I was licensed....) I’ve been a kitchen/backyard/bathroom beautician or whatever/where ever I was needed. Especially in my production days, there were some wild locations!
Many people reading this have had me do their hair or makeup on a pretty crazy place. Share your memories of our fun experiences in the comments!
In this situation, I was custom coloring a halo piece for my fab client and I took some video to may some FYI reels on customizing hair pieces.
My plan is to make loads of fun cut/color/style videos in the next few weeks. But I need to know...WHAT DO YOU WANT to see?!?!

Here’s how it started and how it is today.
#1. is me, a fat baby on her PawPaws pumpkin 🎃—-> a 40year old murder/murder we hornet. Feels pretty spot on.
#2. Mine and Jeff’s first Halloween together in Baton Rouge, 2008. I was Miss Louisiana Fur and Wildlife...bc I LOVE my festival queens and it was either this or Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen. It’s was hard to decide since both are VERY real. Look it up.
Jeff was that kid from Juno. Remember that movie?
Things are super different. But one thing remains the same and maybe it’s my actual super power. .
