Since 2013, I’ve stayed committed to giving every client my absolute best! Not just in results, but in care, honesty, and quality. I’ve always kept my prices as low as possible because I never wanted anyone to feel like great hair was out of reach.

But over the years, I’ve continued investing in top-tier color lines, toners, and products, and I’ve spent countless hours perfecting my technique to ensure every person leaves my chair with something I can proudly stand behind. Along the way, I’ve often included cuts, toners, and treatments without charging for them, simply because I wanted each look to be perfect - not “almost right.”

The truth is, I’ve been swapping dollars for years. I’ve poured my heart, time, and resources into my work, but I’ve failed to charge what it’s actually worth because I didn’t want to come across as “gouging” anyone. I’ve let my heart lead my business, and while that’s something I’ll never regret, I’m now at a place where I can no longer sustain the quality and care I insist on without adjusting my prices to reflect the true value and cost of staying in business.

If I’m being honest, this applies to everything I do. My name, reputation, and quality have carried weight all these years because I don’t cut corners. I’ve put my clients first, always!!!…even when that meant putting myself and my family second, which is usual.

It’s like building a house with premium materials but only charging for plywood — it may look good at first, but the foundation can’t last if the builder never covers the cost of what truly holds it together.

So this next chapter is about balance — about honoring the value of my work while continuing to give you the best service, products, and care that I always have. My goal hasn’t changed: to make sure everyone who sits in my chair feels beautiful, valued, and appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who’s trusted me over the years! You have helped me grow, and I hope this helps you understand why this change is not about raising prices, it’s about sustaining excellence and staying in business. 💛

✨Please Note: the pricing shown is a starting price. Depending on how many ounces I mix because I will be weighing color.
For example: many years, I have charged a base price for a single color. So if someone came in and got 1 ounce of color and then the next client required three, I always charged the same price. I will have to weigh the color and up charge $10 to $20 depending on how many times I have to remix. It won’t be a huge jump, but I do have to disclose that.
Another example that I have cheated myself on; If someone came in and got two colors on top and the underneath was one color, but I’m coloring the whole head, that does not make it a partial. It only makes it a partial when you get 10 foils on top. 

Hopefully these examples give you a little bit of a mental picture of how much color I’m using versus what I’m charging and I promise it would only be gouging if I started doing it immediately when 2020 hit. But it’s been five years and now we are here. Hopefully you guys can help me stay in business!
