Just to keep you in the loop: the Council voted yesterday 13-12 along Party lines (Dr. McCraney, an Independent, being the tie breaker) to amend the amendment about sexualized body parts which now reads (paraphrasing here) that the client’s ge****ls may not be touched and that glutes and pecs may not be touched with the intention of sexual arousal.

Apparently, Republican Council Members have never gotten a massage. The fact that they were willing to make everyone have to get a doctor’s note is incredible. I would say that 90% of my work invludes working on the glutes and probably 75% of people request work that requires the glutes to be one of the primary areas of focus.

The fact is that we are already regulated by a licensing Board and what we may and may not do is clearly spelled out in a well-written law. What a waste of taxpayer money!
