I have a Henna Party slot available for October 25th!

I come to you for this. Invite some friends and split the cost or add me to your event to be complimentary to attendees.

2 hours of henna for only $250 and travel is included within reason of my studio. $50 deposit to hold it. Or pay in full for 10%off

Reach out if you would like another date in October. The 10% discount rate will only be honored if paid in full. I have a few more dates not booked yet.

The bigger the crowd the smaller the design. The smaller the group the bigger they get!

*One person pays me. If you want to split between friends please have it figured out beforehand. I will not be collecting money per person.* again $50 holds the date. The rest can be paid day of. 💎🫶🏽

To all vendor coordinators asking me to join your next event.

I understand booth fees exist for a reason and I will pay it if I am the one approaching you.

However, if an event or market is the one approaching me to block off my schedule and show up and gamble my time, that I usually charge for, I don’t think i should be expected to pay any fee, until my minimum party rate is met first. ($250 for 2 hours)

Because otherwise I am out way too much mentally, physically and financially to be a part of any new events without a guarantee. Free or not it still costs me way more than it’s worth when I just pop up.

I could just book a henna party for 2 hours and be in a chill environment and not worry about if I’m going to get people in my chair. One person pays and I’m able to do 3 times the amount of henna I’d be able to do if I have to take payments per guest.
No late night prep needed trying to make inventory, no mixing too much henna that will go unused, no anxiety of weather conditions. No hauling a tent in and out. No unnecessary hours spent waiting for guests to maaaybe sit down. Just peace of mind knowing I get to create art for as many guests as I can.

The only time you will find me at a market is
If nothing is booked for my weekend by Thursday night. I will then reach out to a local market and apply to vend that weekend. But until then I will not block off potential appt slots or party opportunities for people who don’t understand or respect my time.

After 10 years,, I’ve gained the experience to know what works for me and what doesn’t.

I have stepped waaay back from vending at events and prefer to be hired as complimentary to guests or a ticketed price that the host charges guests before they sit with me.

For group rates of 8 guests or more I am $250 for 2 hours minimum $125 each additional the bigger the crowd the smaller the designs. I can do about 12-15 small designs per hour if it’s a large event. Travel is free within reason of my studio
For anything further than 10 miles I charge $1 a mile roundtrip. (I do offer small biz and non profit rates)

For everything else, I have a studio at Mellwood Arts Center that I take appts at 6 days a week. $100 an hour minimum, can be split between 3-4 guests or if you book it as an individual appt I offer a $25 off discount for the first hour.
House calls are available for a travel fee.

Ive been struggling with poor circulation the last few weeks and super tight muscles in my back and shoulder. I set an alarm to take a break today. Wish me luck I don’t hit snooze and push thru the discomfort.

Jagua Stain updates! These were from Friday and the stain is on Sunday. Look how bold and deep this blue got!

Jagua is a fruit (Genipa Americana) based stain from South America and leaves a deep navy blue stain for 7-14 days.

Due to its gel like consistency I have to work slowly to make every line count. It has super strong staining power and stains immediately. So there are no fixes once it has been applied. For these reasons, I only offer Jagua at my studio or for house calls by appointment in a chill and controlled environment. If you’re a new client You are required to sign a waiver acknowledging it that this is not henna and you are not allergic to berries or tropical fruit. If you have oral sensitivity syndrome I would avoid this option and stick with henna. Clients who have this condition tend to react to the ingredients. Though mild it’s still not fun to be itchy.
