Hey everyone!

Recently, I took a continuing education class on how to give Newborn Massages. When I first seen this class, it sparked such an interest because of how much I have been learning in school. Naturally, I wanted to learn how babies benefit from massage and how to massage a baby so I took on the class. This class was AMAZING and I can’t wait to offer this once I am licensed. For now, I am willing to still provide this service to any mom with a newborn on how to massage their baby and the benefits. A few benefits is a stronger bond between not only the baby and mom but with close family as well. Better digestion, better sleep, and better growth and development comes with it.

If any moms with infants would like to learn this for free, please contact me and we can schedule this together.

Good Evening, again!

I wanted to talk about the massages and how they will work for this semester. In order for me to recieve credit for massaging a client, I must practice what I am learning in class. At a later time, I will make posts of all that I have learned and you as the client will pick what you would like for me to do. The semester I am in teaches all things injury and how massage can help. So far I have learned about massaging for headaches, shoulder pain, and low back pain. As time goes on, I will post consistently about the injury I learn in class and if you decide thats what you need or want to let me practice on, feel free to contact!

With that said, I am still willing to give a regular, therapeutic massage but it will be limited.

As promised, update number 2!

I want to announce that I am officially accepting clients! This opportunity to receive a FREE massage is opened to anyone! Feel free to inbox this page, my personal Facebook, or my business instagram. My main days of taking appointments are Sundays and every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. If these aren’t good days, still feel free to contact and lets see what we can do. I have a limited schedule due to me still working while going to school so if no days work, then there is no worry and I’m still thankful to be considered.

With this said, my massage studio is still under renovation. Thanks to my aunt and uncle, they have been a huge blessing to this process of renovation and helping me set up the studio while I worry about othee stuff. My vision for it should be done by the end of this year.

Good evening everyone!! It’s been a little over a week so here Is an update that has been postponed for a while due to me working and studying.

On the 8th of this month, I got to participate in TWO different chair massage events! One at an elementary school in Louisville, KY called Cochran Elementary. It was for Teacher Appreciation and all were thrilled to receive the massage. I was very thankful for this opportunity as it got my name out and I was able to hand out a few business cards to the teachers as well. Very thankful to Cochran for having me and hope to work with them again. The next chair massage event was at Southeast Christian Church in La Grange, KY. This was a voluntary event to massage single mothers in the community for Mother’s Day and wow! I never thought I would hear a sermon while massaging but it was amazing. I pray those mothers had an amazing and fulfilling time and thankful to Southeast for reaching out to my school to give this opportunity.

🚨 NEW SPACE ALERT🚨

I am so excited to annouce that I officially have a new massage room!! I have partnered with Louisville Combat Academy owned by my Aunt and Uncle to continue making it a small and thriving family business. I am extremely thankful to them and to God for this amazing opportunity and blessing. As this year goes on, I will be decorating and refurnishing it to make it the most relaxing it can be for my clients. I will keep posting updates about the room and further more.

Good afternoon everyone!

I have officially started my 2nd semester of school and for this term I’m learning about 22 different injuries and how massage can help. Tomorrow I will be creating my schedule to take in clients! With that said, these are still absolutely free of charge for the year! In order for me to get credit, I will need to practice what I am learning in class. Whether you have an injury or not, I can still practice. If you happen to have the injury that I post about, PLEASE book! Each week, I will post what injury I have learned and if you are willing to let me practice and then please give me a message!! I will continue to book for relaxing massages but I must be able to practice injury work as well. Thank you in advanced and God bless! 💜

I’m Alexis and I’m a massage therapist student. I am in school for the entire year. I am currently on track to get my license in January-February of 2025.

In the meantime, I am accepting practice clients for the remainder of this year. Being my practice client means you will get a FREE massage while I am in school. Please take advantage as this is not forever! Not only will you leave my table feeling relaxed, you are apart of my journey to help me be the best massage therapist I can be. Payment of any sort will not be accepted as I am not allowed to take it at this moment in time. Your only payment is your presence and a form to fill out after each massage.

This page will be posted on consistently as I will post all updates about scheduling, what I am learning, and events that I take up on.
