Heartbreaking news out of Jackson, Mississippi. 15-year-old Khloe McDonel, who was reported missing on July 18, 2026, was sadly found deceased two days later near a walking trail at Sheppard Brothers Park.
Her disappearance and death have left the community with many questions as authorities continue investigating what happened.

TWO TODDLERS SPENT DAYS ALONE WITH THE BODIES OF THEIR MOTHER AND HER EX-BOYFRIEND.

THE DEATHS OF LAMARA BALDWIN AND LAMONT DUNLAP
Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania | July 31 – August 3, 2026

Lamara Baldwin was 31 years old.

Lamont Dunlap was 42.

On August 3, 2026, authorities responded to a home in the 1100 block of Franklin Avenue in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.

Inside, they made a heartbreaking discovery.

Lamara and her former boyfriend, Lamont, were both dead.

But they were not alone.

Two little girls, just 1 and 3 years old, were still inside the home.

Investigators believe the toddlers had survived there by themselves for nearly two days after the adults died.

The children were found alive and transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being placed into the custody of Allegheny County's Office of Children, Youth and Families.

According to the Allegheny County Police Department, investigators believe Lamara and Lamont died on Friday, July 31, 2026.

At this time, police say there were no obvious signs of physical trauma on either body.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting autopsies to determine the exact cause and manner of their deaths.

Neighbors told investigators the home had a history of suspected drug activity, but authorities have not announced whether that played any role in the deaths.

One detail has made the case especially heartbreaking.

Just hours before investigators believe she died, Lamara posted a three-minute Facebook livestream while holding her 1-year-old daughter.

Through tears, she spoke openly about her struggles with her mental health, family conflict, and relationship problems.

At one point, she said:

"I'm just tired of being lied to. Never told the truth. I don't know how much more I can take."

Now, investigators are working to determine exactly what happened inside that home.

Two adults are gone.

Two little girls survived unimaginable circumstances.

And a family is left searching for answers as they await the medical examiner's findings.
