Not only am I in love with this color, but this is a great before and after to showcase why you should get regular haircuts. In the photo on the left she had not had her haircut in 7 months. After a great color session and trimming a good 2 inches off her hair actually looks LONGER. No extensions, no tricks, just good healthy hair.

Latest update on salon closure.
My dearest amazing fantastic clients,
This is a new and difficult time we are in. Unfortunately Covid-19 has come in and redesigned what 2020 will look like. I never expected to spend my maternity leave the way I have had to... In isolation with my sweet baby boy, no visitors, and not getting to show off my newborn to my friends and family.
It's time to fess up though. What we didn't mention in our baby update was that Gale didn't have an easy start to life. We spent 24 days in the NICU before he was cleared to come home. He needed to be on a ventilator, one of his lungs hadn't opened fully, and he had a pneumothorax. Basically air was stuck between his lungs and his ribs and he had to have a chest tube put in for a week or so to remove the air pocket. He had to have a feeding tube while ventilated and we spent the last week and a half in the NICU building up his stamina to take full feeds on his own.
Since coming home he has done nothing but improve and live a normal healthy baby life. He is happy and as far as we are aware healthy. However without subjecting him to more tests we have no real way of knowing just how mature his lungs have become since he's been home.
Because of this, my husband and I have made the decision for Gale and I to continue to self isolate until the month of June. Financially it sucks. Emotionally it sucks. I'm happy I get more time with my beautiful baby boy and I am thankful we have the ability to do this for him, but I miss all of you. I miss our conversations and spending time with you. I miss doing hair and permanent makeup. I genuinely love my career and all of you...this is a small sacrifice to make in comparison to my son's life. Unfortunately mine is an industry that makes it incredibly difficult to social distance and the sheer volume of people I see on a daily basis at the salon makes it difficult as well.
I know many of you have waited for me to come back and I can't thank you enough for your loyalty. I know that this choice impacts you as well. I'm more than happy to refer you to a stylist that can help you out till I return if you so choose! Anyone currently booked in the month of May that has to be rescheduled will have a choice of a complimentary deep conditioning treatment or 10% off their rescheduled services as a thank you from me.
This was an incredibly difficult decision for us to make and I hope you can understand our reasoning behind making it.
In the meantime here's a few things to help tide you over till your next appointment!
β’ Voltage has an online store set up for product purchases. If you're looking for a quick fix for your roots I would suggest the root touch up spray RETOUCH.ME.

β’ egift cards are still available for a 10% discount. Enter code GALE to receive it.

β’ I will be contacting you all as soon as I can to reschedule appointments. New opening date is June 1st. Please allow me a week or so to do so. When salons open again it will not be 'business as usual.' There will need to be stricter sanitizing policies, breaks between clients to allow us time to clean, and to be able to maintain social distancing stylist's schedules will need to be staggered so we are not violating the no groups of 10 and not be on top of each other. My schedule may have to change because of this. Thanks for your patience while we figure out how to navigate reopening in the safest possible way.
If youβre looking for more ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out the CDC website.
Thank you so much for sticking with me during this time. I look forward to the day I can see you again in person. I came into 2020 knowing my life would be different, I just didn't realize how much at the time. How do you explain a global pandemic in a baby book?
I love you all. Stay healthy and safe and as always feel free to contact me.

Please forgive delayed phone times. I am navigating motherhood and attempting to figure this all out. Text is the best way to get ahold of me, email second best.
Online booking is closed at this time. I will send out an update when it is available again.

"I need a break from all the noise. I want to breathe clean air and swim in clean water. I want to sit on the porch of an old cabin and listen to the stillness. I want to be out where things are simple and every breath is a reminder that there is beauty and magic left in this world."
-Brooke Hampton
With everything going on right now its good to remember that not too long ago I wished for a quite day that I didn't feel the need to do anything... I wish it hadn't come around like this and I hope everyone is staying sane and safe.
I will use this time to reset myself and reconnect with compassion.
