The few clients I’ve already seen and spoken with have helped me process this more than they know. You truly are my family away from family.

This space has never been just a business. It has always been about connection, confidence, care, and community. That’s why this moment has touched so many of us.

We’re reopening tomorrow, Friday January 2nd, and we would truly love to see you. As we close out a difficult chapter and step into this new year, we’re choosing to move forward with intention, healing, and the love of our community at the center. Loveland Police Department

Our hearts are heavy, but they are also full of overwhelming gratitude.

Last night, our salon was the scene of an unthinkable act of violence. In the middle of terror, two incredible women, our employee and a client, showed unimaginable bravery, strength, and instinct to survive. Their courage quite literally saved lives. There are no words big enough to honor what they endured and the fight they showed.

We are equally grateful beyond measure to law enforcement and first responders. Officers arrived within minutes and ran directly toward danger to stop the attacker. Their swift, fearless response prevented even greater tragedy, and we will forever be thankful for their service and their humanity.

To our community, your messages, prayers, calls, meals, and love have wrapped around our entire team in ways we will never forget. We feel your support in every sense of the word.

Out of respect for the victims and the ongoing investigation, we will only share information that has been officially released. For now, we ask for continued prayers for healing, peace, and strength for everyone impacted.

No one should ever experience what happened inside our walls last night, but the courage, compassion, and unity that followed is something we will carry with us forever. 🤍

Active Assailant Attack at Loveland Tanning Salon

On Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., our department responded to an active assailant attack at Endless Summer Tanning, 1518 Madison Avenue. Officers reached the scene in under three minutes and quickly took 20-year-old Kyle Behrens into custody.

Preliminary findings indicate Behrens entered the business while a 21-year-old employee worked inside. He immediately attacked her with a hammer, striking her in the head repeatedly and knocking her to the floor as she suffered serious injury. He then attempted to barricade the front entry, giving her a moment to flee into a nearby room occupied by a customer. The door was secured and 911 was contacted; however, Behrens used the hammer to break through. He then presented a knife and continued his assault, attacking the customer during the encounter as well.

Officers arrived on scene in the middle of this violence and apprehended Behrens. Both victims were transported for emergency medical treatment, with recovery now underway. Behrens received medical attention, followed by transport to the Larimer County Jail on multiple charges, including two counts of Attempted 1st Degree Homicide. Currently, Behrens is known to be transient, formerly residing in the Longmont area.

Assistant Chief Trombley commends both victims for their courage, quick thinking, grit, and the drive to survive, saying, “No one deserves to be the victim of this type of crime. Sadly, trauma of this nature seldom fades quickly.” Our department extends sincere appreciation to our Communications Specialists for thorough information relay, to our officers for their rapid action, and to every individual who contributed to urgent care and support for both victims.
