We’re looking for one more stylist to round out this little crew of incredibly talented, slightly weird, genuinely good humans.

This is booth rental—but we don’t really do the every woman for herself version of booth rental.

You run your own business. You make your own decisions. You build the career you want.

But you also have people beside you who will help with a formula, grab your phone and take the picture, share what they know, hype up your work, help you with social media, laugh with you between clients and genuinely want to see you succeed.

Your booking system is included. Support is included. A whole bunch of knowledge and experience you can lean on is included.

The weird salon competition and bu****it? Not included.

We care a LOT about the atmosphere we’ve built here, which is why we’re not just looking for someone to fill a chair.

We’re looking for the right person to fill the last one. 🤍

We have two full-time stations opening up, and we’re looking for stylists who want the independence of booth rental with the feeling of actually being part of a team.

✨ EMBER IS GROWING ✨

With our sweet Blu getting ready for her next adventure, we’ve spent a lot of time brainstorming, interviewing, soul searching and trying to figure out what comes next for Ember.

And somewhere along the way we realized… we don’t want to replace Blu. Those are some pretty impossible shoes to fill. 🤍

So instead, we’re doing a little rearranging.

We’re saying goodbye to our esthetics room, making some changes to the space and adding TWO full-time stylist stations to our little Ember family.

And when we say we’re looking for the right people, we really mean it.

Ember has become something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s warm, weird, supportive, genuine and completely free of the competitive bu****it that can sometimes come with this industry. We help each other. We hype each other up. We share knowledge. We laugh a LOT. And we genuinely like being around each other.

So yes, you’re renting a station — but you’re also getting a whole group of women in your corner.

We’re looking for established or growing stylists who are passionate about what they do, want to continue learning and, most importantly, want to be part of the kind of salon where everyone succeeds together.

We have two chairs to fill, but we’re in absolutely no hurry to fill them with anything less than the right humans.

I think what we loved most about Dolly was that she never made herself smaller to make other people more comfortable.

She was told the hair was too big, the clothes were too much, the makeup was too much, that no one would take her seriously looking like that. And Dolly basically said… watch me.

She was loud and sparkly and feminine and smart as hell. She wore the big hair, the big jewelry, the rhinestones and the heels—and never acted like being feminine made her any less powerful. She didn’t change herself to fit into the room. She walked into it exactly as she was and made the room adjust.

And through all of it, she was kind. Not small. Not quiet. Not agreeable. Kind. There’s a difference.

Dolly showed generations of women that you can be ambitious and soft, glamorous and brilliant, funny and powerful. You can take up space without taking it away from anyone else.

“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”

What a beautiful legacy to leave women.

Be yourself. Be loud. Wear the big hair. Wear the big jewelry. Take up the space.

And for God’s sake, be kind. ❤️
