Serola Biomechanics, Inc.
Serola Biomechanics Inc. is the first step in conservative care Serola Biomechanics, Inc. is the result of research done by Dr. Rick Serola, a chiropractor.
In 1988, after noticing that muscle strength increased throughout the body after sacroiliac stabilization, he began research into the underlying biomechanics. As a result, he found the need for products that were not in the marketplace, so he developed them himself. Now the Serola Sacroiliac Belt is being used to provide pain relief and help prevent injury to thousands of new people everyday throughout the world.
Different needs call for different kinds of support. 💜
The Serola SI Belt, Gel Arc Elbow Brace, and Belt Extender are designed for different situations—from supporting the pelvis and SI joint, to targeted elbow support, to adding extra room when needed.
Understanding what each product is designed to do can help you find the support that fits your needs and your everyday activities.

Workplace demand is not limited to heavy lifting. Prolonged sitting, repeated bending and moving loads can all affect how the pelvis manages force. Here are five movements worth paying attention to. Which one is most common in your workday?
Leave your question for Dr. Rick below. 🤔
In this special interview, Trish from the SIJD Hub Facebook group sits down with Dr. Rick Serola, CEO and innovator of Serola Biomechanics, to dive deep into the origin story that shaped the brand.
Before designing the gold-standard support belt, Dr. Rick faced his own severe battles with chronic pain following an intense martial arts injury—tearing ligaments from extreme stretching and struggling to find answers through traditional neurology, massage, and chiropractic care. That personal journey of trial, error, and deep anatomical research led him to sew the very first prototype on his wife's sewing machine.
Watch the full conversation above to hear how understanding the true role of the sacroiliac (SI) joint changed everything.

Take a look through this carousel for a simple breakdown of the SI joint, the everyday triggers that affect it, and how targeted biomechanical support can help you move freely and comfortably again. 🔄

At Serola, we make a belt people order quietly, usually after a long weekend, usually when they finally admit that something isn't going away on its own.
There's no wrong time to start feeling better.
