WEATHER UPDATE 4:00PM 6/4/26: With the pending severe weather threat for Eastern Iowa on Friday, June 5th, Hawkeye Downs and Big 8 have made the difficult decision to cancel the scheduled racing program for Friday night.

As many drivers would be traveling, we want to respect the racers’ time and financial commitment to the racing program. The Big 8 Late Models will return to Hawkeye Downs Speedway on Saturday, July 18th.

The defending champ Randy Sargent Racing is back in the house tonight at Madison International Speedway.

Sargent will be running #51 as a tribute to NASCAR Champion Kyle Busch, who passed on Thursday.

7:30pm racing begins
