my bestie Ashley, who owns The Gentlemen's Den, had an emergency this morning and couldn’t get her client in. she called me to see if I could take care of him, and of course I said yes!

I tried my hardest to give him the best experience because after all, she was trusting me. he was very happy with the result, and said he loved that he now has a back up in case something ever happens again. he also said that he really liked that we both spoke very highly of each other, and had much respect for each other.

shout out to all of my clients who have been MY personal therapists for the past 2 years. some of y’all have been with me even way longer than that, but y’all have truly been through the best and worst of times with me!! y’all have cried with me, prayed with me, laughed with me, checked on me, and encouraged me when I needed it the most. through it all, y’all have stayed by my side and there’s absolutely no way I could ever explain how much that means to me!! (might I add that 90% of my clients are men, so this speaks to the kind of people they truly are. it’s not often you find men who are as respectful and caring as the ones I’ve been lucky enough to be surrounded by.) y’all are the real mvps!! thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives, and for continuing to be in mine. 🙌🏼🙏🏼🖤✨

I had already completed the haircut and was about to add the lines. I assured her that it was okay to take care of her son. She smiled and her husband laughed as he carried him into the room. ⁣

please help me in wishing this gorgeous goddess a very happy birthday today!! I was lucky enough to spend the day with her, and have her trust me with coloring her hair for the first time ever!!

she initially had all over grays, so we went in and covered those with a slightly lighter but much richer color than her natural shade, and lightened up the front a bit to brighten up her face and bring out those beautiful brown eyes.

she was truly a joy to work with and deserves all the cheesecake in the world!! 🥳🙌🏼🎂🎈

one of the best parts of my job is that I get to build relationships with my clients and see them grow and go through different exciting (and sometimes not so exciting) life experiences over the years. I’m so honored and thankful to share these moments with y’all!! 🙏🏼🌈💖
