Women of the 100 loved connecting with families, sharing community resources, and meeting so many amazing people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and to the Patterson Library for hosting such a wonderful event.

After a refreshing summer sabbatical, Women of the 100 is excited to kick off another season of serving our community!

We are looking forward to reconnecting with our members, welcoming new faces, and continuing our mission.

Join us this Saturday, August 1st, from 7:45–8:30 AM as we continue our Pearls: Women of the Bible series on Zoom.

This month, we’ll be exploring the life of Mary, a woman whose faith, humility, and obedience to God continue to inspire us today. Together we’ll discover timeless truths about trusting God’s plan, walking in faith, and embracing His purpose for our lives.

✨ The Women of the 100 were honored to attend the 2nd Annual Sankofa Ball this past Saturday! ✨

We were privileged to hear from keynote speaker Kevin D. Richardson, whose powerful story reminded us of the importance of resilience, justice, and hope.

The evening also celebrated the remarkable Ms. Rose Wilson, recipient of the Yellow Rose Award, recognizing her lasting impact on our community.

As women committed to serving and uplifting others, we are grateful for opportunities to support events that honor those making a difference and inspire positive change. Thank you to the Omicron Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Marshall’s Mantle Foundation for hosting such a meaningful and memorable event.

Together, we continue to learn from the past, celebrate the present, and invest in a stronger future.

This past Saturday, The Women of the 100 had the privilege of volunteering at the 30th Annual Charles & Rose Hankson Fishing Derby at Mae Simmons Lake.

There is something special about watching families come together, children experience the excitement of catching their first fish, and neighbors connect through a day of fun, food, and fellowship. We were honored to serve alongside the 100 Black Men of West Texas and so many amazing community partners who made this event possible.

Here’s to 30 years of tradition and many more to come! 🎣💛🖤 💯
