Oh my! Y’all, I’m pretty confident that I’ve used the best edge control for my rebellious hair! Esha Girl has a watermelon scent edge control that smells great and held my updo all day without turning white or getting sticky! (The Amazon reviews are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) I combined it with the Playful Pineapple Pony by Janet Collection and have accomplished my first updo since my hair grew back 😭🙌🏾. This is my moment yall! 😆. You can find the Esha Slick N Slay Braid gel on www.eshagirl.com or on Amazon and Janet is at your local beauty supply store ♥️

I’m all for cutting off things that don’t make me better 🙃. I shared this new “everyday” wig last week and couldn’t fall in love with the combination of 3 16 inch bundles. So I determined a “Lob” -long Bob would be best. No regrets 😍

See the thing is… I didn’t choose the wig life. 🗣️ The wig life chose me! 🤭 These budget talks are getting real serious at my house 😮‍💨

Let’s get fly at home by making a handmade wig. This is my go to preference because I am not a glue user, so the fit has to be just about perfect! Every 2 years, I make a similar wig using yaki straight hair from . The lengths tend to vary, but this year I wanted a super simple, everyday wig. This is 3 16 inch Peruvian yaki straight bundles and a 5*5 matching closure. It definitely gives, “your hair has grown!” 🤭 If you’re new to making wigs, I say get some hair and try it. The worst that can happen is that you have to start over and get better and better! ♥️

Hey sis! 👋🏾

💛🤎 Spring is springing and blonde is blonding 😆. I appreciate the ability to trust the process when changing up a wig. I made this one using 4 20 inch dark root/613 bundles and a 5*5 closure. I went back and… well… all the things in the video to make it more comfortable for me! ☺️. Hang in there and may the pollen not punk you, my sistas ✊🏾 🤧

Hi Y’all!
Quick life update ♥️
I hope you all are doing well and remember me 🤗. All is well in life! We got our daughter off to college, and she’s doing well! Being a grandmother is the most wonderful thing, and our youngest is enjoying being the only child at home. Something cool happened though! My family, the Chapmans, will compete on Family Feud this Friday (February 3rd) ☺️

Though my husband & I are in Texas, his family is from Oklahoma City, so that’s the city that will be mentioned on the show.

You can go to familyfeud.com and type in a zip code for additional station and air time information. I also have some cool hair news coming. 😆 I’ll be back Sunday with my first reel of 2023 showing the new hair journey! ♥️ ya!

Getting fly at home ♥️.
This is such a great style for those with braids or locs.

I got a little cameo appearance today 🥰. My daughter attended her senior prom, so we got to spend some time playing with makeup and elongating her locs for super funky LocHawk. I figured out a neat and easy way to attach some crochet hair on to her locs. Granted… she was annoyed with how it kept getting stuck to her sequins 😅. But she’s a warrior. She’ll find a way to push through. I’ll add a tutorial tomorrow. To be continued…

🎵 Beautiful, beautiful. I feel.. 🎵

Oh snap! It’s been too long!

Happy Sunday good people! I was so excited to have a normal weekend at home. ☺️ I got my Jennifer washed and twisted. This one takes a full day to air dry because it’s so full. But my Jennifer is an 18 inch, 180% density, kinky curly wig by innovativeweavesandwigs.com

She’s currently 7 months old and looks as new as day one. I cowashed using Aussie Miracle conditioner and twisted with Dark and Lovely Curl Glaze. The rest of the work is in the video. ❤️ Have a fabulous week!

𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝙽𝚎𝚠 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚛! I pray great p͎h͎y͎s͎i͎c͎a͎l͎ and m͎e͎n͎t͎a͎l͎ health accompanies you and yours into this next year. We are all one decision from a completely different life, so I encourage us all to make that leap that propels us into whatever it is that our heart desires! This year, I will be covering a different area of my ʜᴀɪʀ ᴊᴏᴜʀɴᴇʏ. I’ve recently lost quite a bit of hair across my hairline and on the right side and mid back. Before anyone says it… It is N͟O͟T͟ related to braids, wigs, or anything else within my routine. It didn’t quite happen overnight but it felt like it. It’s another Covid related side effect 😞. After research and a visit with a dermatologist, I opted to do PRP- ᴘʟᴀsᴍᴀ ʀɪᴄʜ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴇʟᴇᴛ therapy. I’ll update with comparisons biweekly for at least 6 months. Hopefully everything grows back in and the journey gives others who have hairloss an option. If my hair doesn’t not grow back…. I am committed to reminding myself that I’m a whole G regardless. I will shave my sides and keep it moving. My wig game is strong anyway 💁🏾‍♀️. With that said… I got a new wig for the new year y’all! 😍. I’ll catch ya in a bit with my new beauty! 🙌🏾 LETS GOOOOO!
