Sorry it’s been so long since I posted but I’ve just been so overwhelmed since Erin passed. She was my whole entire world. I am writing now to update you all on the preliminary findings. *For those curious about the J&J vaccine*
Since my spleen was removed following a car accident 19 years ago,  I am considered to have a compromised immune system. I never get sick. However, I decided to get the vaccine for COVID-19 since I am in people’s faces all day long in a small room and my wife has an autoimmune condition (especially after talking to clients that had covid and are having the crazy list of lingering after-affects.)
I have had very strange reactions to preservatives in foods and topically. I haven’t had a vaccine since forming these strange allergic reactions, so I wanted to wait until the Johnson & Johnson came out so I would only have to deal with my face swelling up for two weeks one time, if I did react. I am citric acid intolerant, but have not had a reaction since I figured out what supplements to take to accommodate that intolerance. I was still a bit worried when I saw the ingredients for the vaccine(pictured below)
Here is my update:
*No immediate reaction to the vaccine
*Next day- deltoid is a bit sore at injection site
So far, so good 🤞🏻
