I heard an example used the other day about an ice cube. Imagine you had an ice cube and you set it on a counter top in a room that was 25 degrees. Then you moved the air up by 1 degree to 26, then again up one degree by 1 degree. The ice cube would still just be sitting there, frozen. But imagine you made a one degree change all the way until you got to 33 degrees. The ice cube would then begin to melt. Little changes matter, people.
