I’ve been a little quiet here lately with Love Natural Mentorship, and there’s a reason why...

Mid-summer, I decided to pause my coaching program.

Simply put, there was too much juicy information, too many deep practices, and too much transformation to try to squeeze into 90 days.

What I’ve learned from the women who have moved through this work is that 90 days can create some pretty major transformations. We’re talking 3–5x revenue for some.

But even with those transformations, something about the 90-day container still felt... incomplete.

Too short.

I realized I wanted to create a way for stylists to first learn and integrate the foundations of a holistic salon business at their own pace, before stepping into a dedicated mentorship container of 90+ days.

It’s July in Abiquiu.
The air feels different this time of year. Heavy with sunlight, quiet with anticipation.
And, I’ve begun preparing.

The oils come first. I blend them slowly, each one chosen for its intention. Grounding, release, radiance. Their scent fills the room like a whisper of what’s to come.

Next, the meditations. The energy practices that will carry us through the weekend. I trace each breath sequence, listening for what the circle will need this year.

Then, the most important part: preparing myself.

Every ceremony begins with personal devotion.
I’ve learned that I can’t ask others to rest if I’m still rushing.
So I move slower. I speak softer. I let the work become worship.

There’s a sacred rhythm to this stage of the journey. A threshold moment between planning and presence.

Years ago, I began asking a different question.

What if beauty wasn't something we tried to achieve?

That question quietly changed the direction of my life.

It changed the way I worked behind the chair.

It changed the way I cared for women's scalps.

It changed the way I viewed the nervous system, nourishment, nature, and the sacred rhythms that already exist within us.

Eventually, it became impossible to separate beauty from vitality.

And that is how the Sacred Beauty Retreat was born.

Not because I wanted to host another retreat.

Because I wanted to create the kind of space I had been longing for myself.

A place where women could put down the pressure to become someone else.

A place where rest wasn't earned.

Where beauty wasn't performed.

Where being deeply cared for wasn't considered indulgent, it was simply normal.

I don't see myself as someone who has all the answers.

Amber Rose is an artist and healer by nature. She discovered the healing power of sound in 2005, her first experience gave her a strong embodied connection and a calling to begin exploring the bowls. In 2012 she began playing bowls to heal herself after a traumatic car accident. Since then Amber Rose has spent the last decade delving into sound healing, learning and practicing with various instruments from drums and vocal toning to chimes and tuning forks. Simultaneously she has been studying healing through other mediums like Thai and Ayurvedic massage, energy work, meditation and visual art throughout her life. Amber's broad background of healing modalities informs her approach to sound healing, as she creatively weaves her experience into each sound journey.

When do I feel the most beautiful?
Nature is my first medicine, teacher & friend. Always a reminder of my inner & outer beauty and my way back home ever since I was little. It is unconditional love & the essence of beauty within and all around me.
Through immersing myself in nature I have found more compassion and acceptance of myself when I feel drained, emotional or lost. The waters, trees, soil & wildlife in motion has always brought me joy, awe and facination. Feeling my feet in the soil of Pacha Mama grounds & supports my nervous sytem. The raw music of nature's sound has been a sweet reflection of my being & truth, and an inspiration in my Sound Journeys. It’s such an honor to be called in divine timing to be at the Beauty Retreat!
