If you have heard or ever been told that breast thermography or breast ultrasound can be used in place of mammogram for breast cancer screening… This is absolutely NOT TRUE!!!!
Mammogram remains the ⭐️GOLD STANDARD⭐️ for early detection of breast cancer!!! The other methods can be used only as supplemental tools!
This is strongly supported by the FDA and the American College of Radiology!
I encourage you to do your research and obtain your information from credible resources!

MYTH MONDAY 🤔
"If I am postmenopausal and not having any symptoms of vaginal dryness, pain with in*******se, or frequent UTIs or frequent vaginal infections, then I do not need to consider vaginal estrogen therapy..."
In my professional opinion -> MYTH 🚫
TRUTH -> several studies have shown the efficacy of vaginal estrogen therapy significantly decreasing risk for UTIs. And a recent study even shows vaginal therapy may potentially decrease risk hospital, admissions, sepsis, and even death!
So if you are experiencing frequent UTIs, especially if you are postmenopausal, I highly encourage you to ask your provider to be started on the vaginal estrogen therapy ASAP!
Also, don't forget that if you are on systemic estrogen therapy, you are still a candidate for additional vaginal estrogen therapy!
