Let’s talk numbers for a second… because behind every wagging tail and happy adoption photo is a bill that has to be paid.

On average, our rescue spends around $4,500 every single month on veterinary care alone. About half of that is covered by The City of Lucedale (and we are so grateful for that support), but the other half goes toward helping animals that fall outside of city limits—animals we simply can’t turn our backs on.

That means roughly $2,000+ each month has to come from YOU—our community, our supporters, our village. ❤️

So today, we’re turning a need into something a little more fun…

Theresa recently did this cool-toned silver blonde with soft ash undertones.

More specifically:
Base tone: Light ash blonde
Dimension: Blended silver and platinum highlights
Undertone: Cool/icy (no visible warmth or gold)
Overall effect: A soft, smoky silver with natural-looking depth

It has a beautiful lived-in silver-blonde blend — not flat gray, but more of a dimensional “frosted ch*****ne ash” look. The layering in the cut really enhances the light-reflective silver tones.

Very elegant and modern — especially flattering with that textured crop.
