I would like to get something off my chest that has really been tugging on my heart. For those of you who do not know I am Sherry's sister, Summer and I run this page:) First off I would like to say THANK YOU to all of the clients that have been so good to the shop! We would be no where without you! This post is not about anyone in particular, but every single day I set back and watch Sherry work her fingers to the bone to please her clients. She's the first one there and the last to leave. She is the most selfless person I know and has the biggest heart I've ever seen! She loves her job and stays VERY busy! I've seen her go weeks with absolutely no lunch break, I've seen her pass out as soon as she has gotten home from coming in an hour early and being on her feet till 9 pm, I've seen her go in on her days off for ladies who schedules clash with hers, I've seen her work ethic put a strain on her family and forced her to miss out on so much with her daughter and she NEVER complains! Also....I have seen her break down to tears because someone had gotten upset with her for not being able to "squeeze" them in last minute on a book that is already full! Or from someone getting mad because they call wanting and appointment the next day(which is almost always impossible) and she just can not do it. All she says is "how can "I" fix this" when she has done nothing wrong. It's alarming to me the selfishness of people who don't stop to think if Sherry has gotten one single bite to eat that day or the fact that when she puts someone on her book where there is really no room just to make them happy, that it puts her whole day off schedule. Everyone behind that person has to wait, making them upset also and ultimately putting sherry getting off 1-2 hrs late just for them! They never stop to think that sherry has a daughter at home that loves her mom and can't wait for her to get home... She is only HUMAN and can only do so much! I'm sure if she could, she would LIVE at the shop and do hair 24/7 because it is her passion and calling in life! But days that I see her down in the dumps and upset to tears because of the selfishness of others it makes my blood boil. Like I said before we LOVE all of our clients that are so understanding and patient and the ones who have grown to be great friends!
