These photos are a reminder that acne is not always as simple as it looks.

At first glance, her acne didn’t appear severe. But beneath the surface were deep, inflamed lesions that could be felt long before they became visible. She had been struggling with acne since 2020 and had already tried multiple diets, products, and treatments with little success.

What makes acne challenging is that every skin behaves differently.

✨ Some clients clear in 3 months.
✨ Some need 6 months.
✨ Others may need longer.

There is no universal timeline because acne is influenced by many factors, including inflammation, genetics, hormones, skin barrier health, lifestyle, and how the skin responds to treatment.

One of the most important things to understand is that healing is not always linear. During the correction phase, some clients experience purging as congestion trapped beneath the skin begins to surface. Deeper congestion often takes longer to resolve because it has been developing underneath for months or even years.

After 8 months of consistency, her active acne is now clear, her skin texture is smooth, and the inflammation has significantly improved. We are still working on post-inflammatory erythema (PIE)the pink/red marks left behind after acne but those marks will continue to fade with time, proper home care

The goal isn’t just to make acne disappear for a few weeks.

The goal is to create healthy skin habits, address the root causes, reduce inflammation, and achieve long term results.
