• The client didn’t want to go all the way down to the skin and wanted it longer than a stubble. I used a #1 guard closed as my set in. I also tapered out the sideburns & nape of the neck to achieve the desired look

Hairstyle: Slicked Back
Fade Type: Mid Shadow Fade with the sides and back tapered out

STYLING TIPS (for clients) 👇🏼
• BLOW DRY your hair backwards (med heat)
• Apply product to hair when the porosity is between damp and dry
• Use a nickel size amount, then add more
• Use finger tips to evenly spread product to your hair (NOT YOUR PALMS)

Fading tips (for barbers & stylists)
• Don’t blend higher than parietal ridge (unless sits a high fade)
• Cut the top first, then blend into the shape
• Leave the crown and cowlick/whirl in tact, don’t cut it too short
• Blend softly & flick out
