I know you want the elbow but hear me out! 🙏🏼

Strength (or deep pressure) is only useful if the nervous system is willing to access it.

When the brain detects threat from pain, instability, or unreliable sensory input, it reduces neural drive. Muscle activation drops before the muscle ever has a chance to respond to the deeper pressure of a deep tissue massage.

When the nervous system feels safer, it increases access to the capacity that was already there. That’s why after multiple sessions you can receive deeper pressure than before. Your nervous system accepts the work as healing, not a threat.

An effective therapist isn’t going to make you lay under the elbow for 90 minutes just because you asked for it. They’ll keep a watchful eye on your breathing, nonverbal signs and how well you’re tolerating the treatment.

1. Cards on file: To reserve your appointment, a credit card on file is required. Your card will never be charged without your permission and is only processed the day of your service.

2. Late or same day cancellations: We understand things happen or pop up unexpectedly! The first cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment is waived as a courtesy. The second time and thereafter, a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the service fee will be charged to the card on file.

3. No shows: Failure to let us know you will not be able to make your session will incur a fee of 100% of the service charge- no exceptions.
