Dimensional and lived in blonde for the summertime 🤩

WHAT A LEARNING CURVE! Abby came to me three weeks ago to be a brighter blonde. I went in for a foiliage with a new technique I thought would give us the best results. I was wrong. I expressed to Abby that I wasn’t happy with how it turned out. I squeezed her in for a low light to break it up and we still weren’t happy with the results. We went through our consultation one more time and talked about the ultimate goal. I did some heavy research planning out what techniques I needed to use to get her where she needed to be and sure enough third time was the charm!
Sometimes moments like this are soooo defeating but also humbling. I appreciate having friends and family that support me so I have opportunities like this to LEARN and grow! I appreciate my clients letting me know so I can make sure they LOVE their hair. I want the criticism and the honesty because that is what will make me the best hairdresser.

A huge shout out to my brother for letting me be creative with his hair! He requested the colors and i tried a new technique. He just celebrated his 22nd birthday yesterday!

Balayage is a french word that means “to sweep” the technique is hand painted application that creates natural-looking, sun-kissed hair color with a paint brush. The lift on the balayage is light to achieve a more natural look and depending on the hair can take a few applications to get the desired result.
