“I often find that living with Borderline Personality Disorder is like living the life of someone addicted to drugs. Because I will give up anything and everything to avoid being abandoned. This includes destroying my life. Completely out of control and impulsive. I avoid abandonment like my life depends on it. This is why we often stay in situations where we are unwanted or not valued.
